A new report by real estate website zoocasa includes an infographic that shows GTA home prices mapped by their vicinity to GO Transit stations.
Zoocasa based their report on home prices from sold listings within a two-kilometre radius from each of the 66 GO Train stations. They also looked at commute times based on a weekday arrival at Union Station around 8:30 a.m. to gauge where along the GO Transit system that home buyers would get the most for their money.
The Brampton and Mount Pleasant stations scored in the top 5 most affordable stations within the 46-60 minute commute time to Unions Station.
The least expensive area in the GO Station report is the West Harbour stop ($365,927) with a commute time of 71 minutes to Union Station. The most expensive is Port Credit ($1,361,029) on the Lakeshore line with a 25 minute commute time to Union.
