The City has initiated a new curbside pickup initiative to help local businesses and residents in the downtown area.
Businesses that offer their products and services online or over the phone can now direct customers to designated curbside pick-up locations. The new “loading zones” can be used for 15-minute intervals. The locations include:
Main St. North – Garden Square 
12 Queen St. East 
24 Main St. South 
46 Queen St. East 
Main St. North – Vivian Lane 
74 Queen St. West.
Mayor Brown says that “we have been doing all we can to support our local businesses throughout the pandemic, and these new curbside pickup parking zones will make it easier for customers to safely shop their favourite local business.”
Ward 1/5 Regional Councillor Paul Vicente is a Co-lead of the Economic Support Task Force and says that “we will continue to look for ways to support our business community as we move into Stage 3 of the province’s reopening and recovery.”
