Safe Center of Peel is a partnership of agencies that support  families and individuals whose lives have been affected by domestic abuse and violence. The group, located in the Davis Centre for Families at 60 West Drive was established in 2011.
The program aims to reduce risk and provide services that promote choice and empowerment. Over 15,000 people have been service over the past 5 years. The need unfortunately is on the rise in Peel Region. Children and Youth are also being helped to deal with the effects of abuse and family violence.
A multi-disciplinary team of professionals work together to provide wraparound services to victims of family violence. These services are not secular nor are they restricted to the Catholic faith. There are many faiths that are serviced at the facility in eight languages.
