All Faiths Served at The William G. Davis Centre For Families

The William G. Davis Centre for Families serves as a hub for social services including mental health, addictions, relationship advice.  The Centre also specializes in assisting those who are experiencing family violence through their Safe Centre of Peel program. The facility is located at 60 West Drive in Brampton.

Sharon Devine is the Executive Director for the Catholic Family Services of Peel-Dufferin which operates the William G. Davis Centre for Families.  She joins Michael A. Charbon on our latest Brampton Focus Webisode to discuss some of the over 17 services being operated out of the Centre.

One program at the facility is Good Food Brampton which provides culinary training to youth. It serves as a gateway to paid employment in the food services industry.  Members of the community can taste test the dishes each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where for $8.00 the program serves a hot lunch.

The Centre serves the community in 12 different languages and is available to members of all faiths and backgrounds.  For more information visit their website at cfspd.com.
